Generations

Generations follows the history of Captain Ben Whalley, from small tales of fishing starts to his current passion for striped bass. But there’s a problem. Striped bass have had six (now seven post-production) failed spawns, meaning a conundrum has arrived. While big fish are visible, there are no younger fish following them. Captain Whalley sees this most viscerally through the eyes of his daughter, Vivi. She was born the year of the last great striped bass spawn, meaning she and the fish are the same age. This conservation piece urges action, not just for the fish’s sake, but for a family’s livelihood and love. From Ben Meadows and Dorsal Outdoors.
